During World War II, German medics used tags to document and manage soldiers' injuries from chemical warfare. These tags recorded details about the nature and severity of the chemical exposure, the treatment administered, and the soldier's identification. This system ensured efficient triage and appropriate medical care as soldiers were evacuated from the battlefield to medical facilities.

The stripes on these tags were used to determine the soldier's transportability:

  • 2 Stripes: Unfit for transport
  • 1 Stripe: Fit for transport
  • No Stripes: Able to march

These LEGO® tiles (1x2) are perfect for enhancing your dioramas.
